WordPress gives special consideration to the privacy policy of your website visitors.
So, WordPress has already created a “Privacy Policy” page for us.
It happened when we were installing WordPress.
But the page is currently in “Draft” status.
So, we still need to publish the page ourselves.
You can see this drafted page by clicking on the “Pages” from the Admin menu:
Come on, let’s enter the edit screen of the “Privacy Policy” page.
Did you see that?
WordPress has already generated some decent content for your privacy policy page.
If you don’t want to use any policy generation tools and have no clue about who your competitors are, then using the privacy policy generated by WordPress is not a bad idea.
It gets the job done (at least when you are just getting started)
But just read the policy carefully and tweak it to fit your needs.
Finally, hit the “Publish” button to make your privacy policy accessible to your website visitors.
That’s all.
In the next lesson, we will learn how to manage pages in WordPress.
